Liberia Animal Welfare & Conservation Society is a Partner Organization of Animal-Kind International. Donations may be made to AKI, designated for LAWCS. 100% of all designated donations are sent to LAWCS. AKI is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in the US. In partnership with our German partner organization, Welttierschutzstiftung (WTS), we are building the capacities of animal science students and instructors of two institutions of higher learning in Liberia, Lofa County Community College (LCCC) and Cuttington University since 2019. The programme provides both theoretical and practical skills and knowledge for the animal science students and instructors of the two institutions.

Welttierschutzstiftung (WTS) is a charitable foundation, established in 2015 by Welttierschutzgesellschaft e.V. The foundation promotes animal welfare worldwide. The main focus of its work lies on improving animal welfare through academic education and continuous professional development in emerging and developing countries, on scientific research on animal welfare, on raising awareness towards animal welfare in society and on the search for solutions to a global animal-friendly future. www.welttierschutz.org/stiftung/
