In addition to this, esteemed organisations like The West Africa Centre for the

Protection of Animal Welfare (WACPAW) are contributing significantly. WACPAW's

recent Plant-Based Diet campaign at St James R/C JHS exemplifies their

commitment to education. They provided comprehensive training to students,

enlightening them about the profound impact of plant-based diets on personal

well-being, animal welfare, and environmental conservation.

During the session, students were enthralled as WACPAW showcased the

preparation of delectable plant-based meals using affordable, easily accessible, and

nutritious ingredients such as vegetable oil rice, vegan egusi stew with vegan

gari/banku, and vegetable noodles. Witnessing these culinary delights inspired the

students, who actively engaged and expressed astonishment at the possibility of

creating such delightful dishes without the use of meat.
